Learn how our referral program works

Know someone who'd be a great fit for Poly Speed Dating? Invite them to apply and both the community and you can benefit.

How it works

  1. Your referred person gets accepted, but you don't

    You receive a guaranteed seat for the next PSD event (regular ticket price still applies).

  2. Both you and your referred person get accepted for the same event

    You receive a €5 discount on your ticket for that event.

Important Notes

  • The referred person must be a new applicant who mentions your name when applying.
  • Referral rewards apply only once per referred person.
  • Guaranteed seats are valid for the next regular PSD edition only.
  • Discounts cannot be combined with other promotions unless stated otherwise.
  • We reserve the right to decline misuse or fake referrals.

PSD grows best through trusted recommendations. Great people often know other great people.

Event & Application

How does the PSD event work?

Our speed dating events consist of an intro-round and some ice-breakers. After you meet the candidates, each puts in the software who they wish to get to know better.

Then you get 5x timed rounds (5 minutes each) where you'll meet different people in a structured way. There are breaks between rounds to take notes and catch your breath.

After all rounds, you'll submit an opt-in form indicating who you'd like to stay in touch with. We only share matches when there's mutual interest!

Application process (dates & info)
  1. Check our Apply page for upcoming dates
  2. Submit the Google Form
  3. Wait for confirmation email (usually within 1 week)
  4. Arrive prepared (phone charged for check-in, open mind ready)
Space is limited so we recommend applying early.

Software & Matching

How does our software work?

Custom-built matching system

  1. Check-in via QR code → Fast and easy entry
  2. Automated round assignments → Everyone meets efficiently
  3. Private opt-in matching → You choose who interests you
  4. Mutual matches receive contact/social info via email → Only when there's a match!

Save My Interests

First you submit/save your interests; people you deem interesting.

These are NOT your final matches — you can change that after Round 2.

Our software will take into account: your preferences, other preferences, gender and sexualities of all participants. Romantic interests take preference over social interests.

After everyone submits, the software will spit out 5 bands of people that would best match you and everyone else's interests.
